Anand C, from Kozhikode, Kerala, a third-year cinematography student at the Tamil Nadu Govt. MGR Film and Television Institute, believes that photography is about capturing the essence of raw moments—freezing time to preserve its true essence. Cameras were always an integral part of his life as his mother always had one with her, so growing up, cameras became something very dear and personal to him. As he got older, he realized that the camera is his identity, and hopes to take this forward.

This exhibition delves into the quiet transformation of a home and a father. Surrounded by books and memories, I reflect on stories once told with passion, now replaced by stillness. Time blurs everything, and everything gradually resembles itself. As my father becomes a shadow of his former self, the spaces around us fall silent, yet traces of life persist, calling for the stories still waiting to be told.
