Arun Karthick

Coimbatore

Arun Karthick, is a self-taught filmmaker from Coimbatore. His debut feature, Sivapuranam, premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam's Bright Future section. His sophomore, Nasir received the Hubert Bals Fund and NFF+HBF Co-production fund. Nasir has been screened globally and won numerous awards. Arun was also honoured with the BAFTA Breakthrough India Initiative and has served as a jury member at the Andrei Tarkovsky Zerkalo Film Festival.

Apocalypse : A Love Story

Discarded fragments of time on a single cartridge of Super 8mm film. Exploring the physical trace a fleeing moment has left behind, through celluloid for the displacement between the moment of exposure and the resultant image.
