Chardi Kala
This series is a collaboration between fashion designer Gaurav Khanijo and photographer Charudutt Chitrak, blending design with cultural heritage to reinterpret local attire. Gaurav Khanijo designed garments honouring the integrity of Nihang attire while adding his creative touch. Charudutt Chitrak crafted a surreal narrative, respecting traditional roots. The imagery uses colors symbolising spiritual devotion; yellow representing Chardi Kala, a Punjabi term in Sikhism for positivity and optimism toward life and the future.
