Flocculations
This work is from my ongoing study and interrogation of the contestation within the kanamaluka/ Tamar estuary. The conflict raises the proposition of a socialised notion of 'nature' and attempts to critique the main actors who dominate the discourse over the estuary's current and future use. The images are experimental and involve submerging the film at contested spaces within the waterways. The final image shares sedimentary marks, tidal influence and beholden to the whims of nature.
