Thousand Years of Dreams

A Thousand Years of Dreaming explores my queer journey, blending identity, love, and spirituality. Set on the sacred Ganga in Varanasi, it features a symbolic queer marriage with my lover, reclaiming space in a heteronormative society. Sculptural costumes—two bridal and one

male societal body—symbolize resilience, transformation, and imposed roles. Through “second skin,” masking, and shedding, the performance honors queer dreams of love and acceptance, envisioning a future where they bloom freely.
