Meet Me In The Garden
Amidst the chaos of India’s bustling cities, gardens bloom as sanctuaries—breathing spaces where time slows, and nostalgia weaves its tender spell. Here, generations have found solace, their memories as delicate as petals in spring. These spaces, vibrant and ever-changing, hold the whispers of human longing for nature’s embrace. The artist explores this quiet bond in her series, crafting dreamlike portraits where subjects merge with the rhythm of leaves and light. Through digital drawings layered upon photographs, she spins an ornamental language of love—a tapestry of colours and textures echoing the gardens’ vibrancy. In Chandigarh’s parks, she witnesses seasons shape the land, each transformation a testament to life’s endless cycles. Yet, through this flux, the garden remains constant, an intimate dance between nature and humanity, a keeper of cherished memories. A garden is refuge, a home. It holds our childhood, our lovers, our unspoken dreams. It is a museum of our souls.
