Kirthana Devdas

Kirthana Devdas (b.1988) is a photographer living in Chennai, India.
She was a recipient of the Sahapedia grant in 2018 for her documentation of thira, a native ritual practice in the Malabar region. She was a resident artist at the Fjuk centre for the arts in Husavik, Iceland in 2016. Her work has been shown at the Angkor Photo Festival, JIP Fest, Chennai Photo Biennale and the Hyderabad Centre for photography.
She has been commissioned for projects by UN Women, G5A, Facebook, Fairwear foundation, Keystone foundation, Marico, HCL, Asian Paints.
She is a member of the photo collective, Eight Thirty.
