Silent Circus

Once a cherished tradition India's vibrant circus culture is fading as empty seats replace the cheers of packed crowds. Circus artists performing three shows daily face harsh living conditions and diminishing audiences. Social media's rise seems to have shifted attention from their daring feats to digital screens. Despite the hardships the artists persist pouring their hearts into each act striving to revive the magic of the big top. Their story is one of resilience as they keep the fading tradition alive hoping to rekindle joy in changing times.

Secret lives

I watched the scene unfold at a busy traffic light and my heart sank. Children no older than my own wore masks not to play but to sell. They ran towards cars with urgency their eyes fixed on the drivers hoping for a sale. The sight struck me deeply. Their hunger had stolen their childhood replacing games with work. They weren't playing with the masks they were using them to survive. It was a painful reminder of how innocence is lost in a world that often looks the other way.
