Mythili Durai is a second-year English Literature student at Dr. MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women. Coming from an ordinary family background, she has always been deeply passionate about photography. During her undergraduate studies, she was selected by the CPB Foundation for a workshop, where she learned various techniques and experimental approaches to photography. This experience significantly enhanced her skills in photography, editing, and creativity. Now, she is actively working on her own photography journey—one she has always dreamed of—and is bringing it to life.
Living Heritage
In today’s world, people’s daily activities reflect and honor their culture, from temple visits to community rituals. Through my photography, I capture how these traditions stay alive in everyday life, offering a sense of belonging and connection to one’s roots. These moments help preserve cultural identity while people navigate the modern world.
