Through this photograph, "Wild Act", I aim to convey the unbridled energy and spirit of Kulasekarapattinam's Dasara celebrations. A woman, vividly adorned as Goddess Kali, embodies primal power and divine chaos. Her intense gaze, outstretched tongue, and the fiery background evoke awe and reverence. The skull garland and ritual props reflect the blending of devotion and theatricality. This image captures a moment where faith transcends into performance, allowing devotees to connect deeply with the goddess's fierce form, making the festival a profound cultural and spiritual spectacle.

I witnessed the raw, vibrant energy of Kumartuli, Kolkata, a sanctuary of creation where art meets devotion. This image, titled "Crafting the Divine", captures an artisan immersed in his meticulous work, sculpting Goddess Durga and her entourage. The workshop was alive with colours, textures, and a divine aura, each figure embodying both power and grace. The interplay of colours accentuates the intensity of the craft. This photograph symbolises not just the making of idols but the soul of Kolkata.

"Rural Rhythm", captures the serene essence of life in a village near Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli district. This monochromatic image depicts the interplay the raw beauty of a farmer as he moves through the blooming marigold field, harvesting flowers with quiet dedication. The expansive sky and distant mountains frame the scene, symbolising the connection between human toil and nature’s grandeur. For me, this image embodies the harmony of rural life, where every gesture is a dance, every field a stage, and every harvest a celebration of resilience and simplicity.
