The Collage as a visual narrative

Workshop by Delphine Diallo

Delphine Diallo’s collage artwork beautifully combines her French and Senegalese heritage with her passion for photography and empowerment. Influenced by photographers like Peter Beard, Diallo creates powerful visual narratives that celebrate the divine feminine. Her work transforms friends and family into goddess-like figures through body paint and jewelry, reflecting her commitment to female empowerment and authenticity.

Diallo’s collages blend traditional techniques with digital tools and found imagery, crafting inclusive narratives that elevate black women and challenge conventional norms. Her art invites viewers to reflect on beauty, strength, and unity, envisioning a future rich in acceptance and imagination.
