Many may be familiar with the phrase, ‘When you're a mum, woman, parent you can't do this or that anymore’. How can we as individuals develop an artistic strategy, a language to counter such statements and empower each other? The workshop is designed to give participants space to share their experiences. In teams, each person will develop an image, text or video in which they defy the stereotype. Please bring your mobile phone, scratch book or any other medium you like to work with. Hannah Cooke will introduce you to her work on motherhood and will share her artistic strategies. Together we will find new ways to face the clichés and prejudices. At the end of the day we will look at the creative output each person created over the day.
