MEET OUR ARTIST
Rhys Davies is a Welsh photographer and filmmaker based in Cardiff, UK. His work incorporates a multimedia approach with strong documentary tropes at its core. Davies’ work focuses on diverse communities whilst building specific character explorations within them. The emotion and closeness seen within his work is a result of building relationships during the capture period. This allows viewers a more authentic insight into the lives of his subjects. Awarded the Source Graduate award in 2020, Davies has continued his long term projects whilst working internationally.
