DOT School of Design, Chennai

On 8th July 2022, we had our first traveling library session with Dot School of Design, Ambattur. The session was for a bunch of 120 students. They were introduced and briefed about some books like Ritesh Uttamchandhani's The Red cat & other stories, Witness Kashmir by Sanjay Kak, etc...

The students were very keen on understanding the concept of Photobooks and their forms. They were very intrigued by the design and form of the book Guftagu edited and curated by Anshika Varma. They were surprised to know what kind of pictures can be in photobooks and how it was shown.

After the discussion, the students were eagerly waiting to explore the books that were displayed. They were very interactive and were curious to know about the juxtaposition of images and the reason the photographer has taken a picture in a particular way. It was great interaction with the students and faculties of Dot School of Design. Looking forward to having more sessions and workshops with them.
