Anjana Dev

Anjana Dev works primarily with photography, photo text and video. Her work is centred on women’s experiences in the various spheres of life. In the forefront of her concerns lies the unbearable weight of unjust events in a woman’s life in an androcentric world. How we unknowingly facilitate the internalised oppressive nature towards women is something that she investigates rigorously in her personal life. Currently, she is pursuing photography academically at the National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar.
